Stupid Hood...

I searched, didn`t find it, but I`m SURE I read it somewhere...anyways, brought the car out now that the weathersà bit better, and found since the last time I put the hood back on, the hood release fails to work...it`s attatched (the wire to the lever), but it just isn`t ùnhinging`it, I guess. I mean, it releases the hood slightly, enough that I have to push it back down to click it closed, but not enough to open it. What causes this, and how can it be fixed..É I just need to pop it up once to re-align it (again... ) in the Spring. Thanks.

I did not take my hood off but I did have it on stands for a while and that made the hood not ever want to come up
Jack the car up in right in front of the doors and that might do it
It pulls the hood back and make everything nice and loose
now I have no problems

All's good, I crawled under (in the snow), f00ked with the release mechanism, and 'sprroing' it popped up. Lubed everything, extended the spring, I'm golden now.

Nope, can't take credit for it...someone from the Ontario Regional board made it, though their name currently escapes me...
