I have an 85 Z28 with a red interior. I am trying to identify my seats... they have red vinyl along the sides.. the face of the seat itself has a red cloth on the left and right side but down the middle is red/black horizonal stripes..
I have seen this interior only once before but it was in a gray with black/gray stripes in the center. Can anyone give any insite to this interior.
The pic isnt the best.. she was in the shop this winter for a little TLC.. but you can see the passenger side seat clearly.

 

You are actually in luck, I have an 86 Iroc that can with the exact same seats in it. I'm not for sure but I don't think many camaro's came with that kind of seat. I was going to keep mine that way but found it hard to find someone who could restore them to that so this is what I did with mine

 

So... no one else here has ever seen an interior like this??

What you describe is the standard cloth interior for 85 camaros. My 85 has them in gray.

 

ok.. so if this is the standard red cloth interior for 85.. does anyone have or know of a place to get replacement covers for the front and rear seats?

 

My 83 Z28 has them in royal blue. And my 84 in charcoal.

I have the exact same style seat except in a light saddle and black color scheme. I ran the rpo codes and this is what came up so I hope it helps.

I have already looked though their site.. I have not found a supplier yet that offers covers with the horizonal stripes on the seat.

ok.. dumb question... I've gone looking and can not see to find the body tag.. where is it located at?

 

Body Number Plate
The Body Number Plate Identification Label is located under the hood on the radiator cross support. It includes the the model year, build date, style number, assembly plant, body number,
paint color, paint type, trim combination, and seat type.

I believe there is also a parts Identification tag in the center console storage thing. Either under the lid or on the side of the inside.
