DIY white face guages, questions.

Since link is not working, and I have searched this board. Does anyone have the templates for 91-92 RS 110mph cluster?? If so, please post, or let me know and I will IM you my email to send them to me.

Also, whats best glue to use so that it wont bubble and jam my needles. (found from searching).

Also, what paper is best, standard, glossy, high gloss, matte, etc??

Thanks for any respsonses.

when you print those templates out and put them on your gauges can you see them at night? or is that the reason they're DIY...?

The one's I got were completely the wrong size. WAY too big and it wastes too much paper on trial and error sizing. I dont want my speedo or especially the RPM (when I shift manually for racing) to be off even a little bit.

If anyone has the 145mph gauge set templates that are the correct size please hit me up.

Thanks....

if they print out the wrong size you are probably using the wrong program to open and/or print them with you need to use an adobe program preferrably photoshop to open them and they will print out perfectly the same as before

Bringing this back to life. Thanks to however sent me the templates. I finally got off my ****, and had them "personalized" for the driver of the car (not me).

Do I need to have them laminated to last longer, or not yellow. I do have some glossy paper.

Here are the gauges I made myself. I took the gauges off and then scanned them. I then photoshopped them and printed them out on glossy paper. I then laminated it and trimmed it to fit. I also made white face HVAC and headlight switch faces. It turned out pretty well. They're pretty easy to make yourself, but if you have a template, it's even easier. By far the easiest and one of the best little mods to help the interior.

I've got the templates, modded them to fit the driver of the car. Going to print them out this weekend. Wasn't sure if they had to be laminated. Looks like they do, so time to find a place to do that for me.

You can laminate them yourself at a Kinkos' or at most big copy centers. It'll cost $10.00 at most for a full set of gauges.

Printing these out, have questions....

When I print them, do I do "scale to fit", or full scale?

If I do scale to fit, what do my boarders need to be??

My printer is slow, and this paper isn't cheap, I dont want to waste a bunch to get the right size.
