I'm just thinking that if you have aluminum inner door panels in the car, they are gonna get HOT in the sun. I dont know about you, but my left knee always touches the door panel (at least I think it did, I havent driven my car in months ), and that would cause some serious burns on an aluminum door panel. Plus, the idea is a little too much to me, but to each his own.

Yeah it will require custom fabrication. As soon as I get my rollcage welded in I'm going to be doing this to my RS (red one in sig). Dunno if this is a good idea for a daily driver (will get very hot), but my RS is race only so it dosnt matter.

Aluminum door panels

A company sells them on ebay starting out @ $9.99., but of course you have to cut out the window crank and door handle holes. Hell for $9.99 it's worth it. Heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6770

GOOD LUCK

hmm.. I think they look pretty good. Don't know how you would fasten them to the door besides the arm rests/ handle trim area. Screws and u-nuts? Maybe eliminate the inside latch handles & stuff, mount remote solenoid for latches. I think the panel would show every bump and ding. And probably rattle. But a possibility for a custom interior.
