regular camaro conversion
how hard would it be to turn a reg. V8 camaro into a z-28/iroc, putting on all the ground effects and bumper covers and such.

depends if the car already has ground effects on it, etc.
If the car is bare, then you'll have to drill holes for the ground effects. You should be able to do it in a weekend.

You'll have to get the complete newer front bumper with headlamp bar, impact bar etc, drill some holes for the gfx pieces, bolt on the rear bumper, and weld on the side tabs that hold the gfx up. Heres a pic of them, see just below the door opening.

so, if i was to want to make this camaro a z-28 clone, what would have to be done to the rear end besides the bumper cover? and also, everything interior wise will be able to just bolt in..correct? i have an 84 z that i will be using for parts if i was to buy this camaro, so i will have most of the things needed, except rear end (someone hit me in the rear) =( but, the one i am looking at is an 87...so, i was planning on just taking the interior out of my 84...possibly switching the tranny if it wasn't the t-5....then slap on some ground effects, front spoiler, new front bumper cover and rear bumper cover, then do the suspension and exhaust later.

The bumper cover just bolts on, you'd have to drill holes for the quarter ground effects, a hole just behind the door for the rockers, weld on the rocker mounts, drill 2 holes in each fender rear for the side skirts, drill holes in front of fender for front skirt and swap the whole bumper setup.
