Try some "Bon-Ami" and some water. Thats what we use at the dealership for "chattering" wipers and hard water spots.

What is bon ami? Where can I find it? I would like to get rid of those water spots on my windows and tops, too.

I believe you will find the window clor to be solid and you will not be able to actually remove it... UNLESS someone had put an extra layer of tint on them. The set I have are SOLID!

I would be very leary of "bon-ami", I have no idea what it is, but it might not be "Plastic" freindly, the Plastic t-tops I have seen are a cast form of Acrylic, not lexan as many people want to believe. The company that made them is "Leximar" which confuses many people. You could do some major damage to the acrylic if you use the wrong chemical. It might not show up today or tomorrow, but it might in the future.

AS for the crazing, it usually occurs just below the surface and you may or may not get it all out...

Good luck

John

to give everyone a little refresher on plastics:
Lexan = Polycarbonate
Plexiglas = Acrylic

Leximar = Company that made cast ACRYLIC t- tops.

hope that helps...

looks good. I didn't wet sand mine, but I polished them with some polishing compound and a buffer and they came out great. I'm thinking about wet sanding them and polishing them out like you did to get them just perfect.
