how much do i pay for a fourth gen dash?

ok i did a search and found that john5.7 87Iroc had purchased a 4th gen dash from http://www.tacreationsusa.com

see thread https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=187503

well i don't want a dash, i want a console, i found this one on the same website, it is from a 97-02 firebird or camero. i was wondering, is 125$ + shiping to much to pay for this, and will it fit my 86 firebird? i am pretty sure it will fit cause i did a search and no one else has had problems that i saw. although we alla know how good the search function is on TGO.

PS: sorry to post ANOTHER console thread.

is there any differances in the mounting of a 94 camaro console and a 97+ camaro console? are the shifter locations the same?

$125 + shipping is a decent price.
Bolts right in.

89cmrodriver, the consoles mount the same but the 93-96 style doesn't have the cool flip-out cup holder. and the console cover opens up from the front, instead of the side.
Shifter locations are the same.
Also, you need to mod your car to get the console to fit due to your radio pod being part of your console. The birds have a seperate radio pod.

On your 94 console, you have a cassette holder/pocket underneath the hvac controls, right? I am pretty sure it is attached to the center console and not the dash.
I used to have a 96 Camaro and that part was removed at one point for modification for an EQ.

You can remove it from the console and probably attach it to the dash. I am not sure if the 97+ will fit under it though.
you can bring the car to me and we can test it with one of my consoles I have here.

Today would be the best day since I am going to be home all day.

There is an auto one on camaroz28.com for $75-100. Then you just need to sell the auto plate and get a 6 speed plate.
The main console bodies are the same.
