Not bad looking, like the red . I'm not a fan of the stripe where it curves up the side pillar. Looks out of place.

Heh I thought that stripe was a shadow.

It be bad *** to... this is hard to explain so I will try and photoshop it.

Basically, do a double hockeystick strip.

That looks similar to a black version of the Starsky & Hutch car stripe... I used to love that car... I think its a Ford Gran Torino.. too bad (I guess it could be some dodge )

Looks pretty good, but no offence, you really need to have that passenger door properly aligned. It is really off.

hey, thanks for the replys, im like a lot of people, i get my car running good before i mess with the outside, i personally, do not like the stripes, same with all u it seems like too, the paint job is really good,t hats why i hate to have someone paint it, but im goin to anyways, or is there any other way i can get that duke of hazzards stripe off?? lol, heres another angle, also the door alignement is not off, it just looks weird from the picture, it was because i have a sucky digital camara, and plus it was really sunny and i guess it messed it up, hell if i know, heres another angle, show me what it looks like without the stripe and with different rims, also should i go maaco on my paint job?? i have 1000 bucks saved right onw, this guy that has a mustang got a maaco for 249, and it looks showable, i mean it was unbelievably good, and its also 2 years old now, just tell me what u think,

like I've heard so many people say... Macco is a franchise. So while some may be horrible, others can be really good. If you like the paint job on your friends car, go to the same place and get the same guy to do it. Sometimes great painters (at least guys that take great pride in thier work) do work at Macco Good luck man

Sometimes (not always) you get what you pay for then again sometimes you pay for what you get...

It cost me $145 for a quart of paint, and clear coat for my wheels. I am really sure that a company like Maaco gets bulk discounts, but I would have to ask what kind of paint (Enamal, Water base, Polyurithane, etc) and name brand of Paint PPG, Sherwin Williams, Dupont, etc.

Honestly the difference in an ok job and a great job in paint work is preperation... You can get great results from cheep paint and horrible results from the best paint.

John

Wouldnt doubt it... I mean how many cars have you seen like that?

But then again... it could of been a dealer paintjob. I had a Chevy conversion van with a custom paint job. But it was done at the dealer.

"0" 3rd gen Camaros came from the factory with stripes like that. This dealer was smokin' something. It's a repaint!

I've gotta go with Scott on this one. No third gen came from factory with that stripe. Repaint or No Repaint, the factory didn't do it. At some point and time, someone has painted that stripe on. Even my factory Heritage stripe wasn't painted from factory,.....as a matter of fact, it ain't painted at all. It's a great big sticker. Most all of the striping on our cars are stickers, not paint. That's why I say it ain't factory. As for a comment on your car,...I think it looks great. The Photoshopped Firehawks really set it off. I'd go with those if I had the money. The stripe,....eh....well, I'm not personally crazy about it. It's not the worst I've seen though. But it's your car, and you do to it what you like. No one can satisfy your taste like yourself.
