4th gen TA wing on 3rd gen GTA?

Has anyone tried putting a 4th gen TA/Formula wing on a 3rd gen to replace the junk factory rubber one.I can't see paying $300+ for a aftermarket fiberglass wing and I see 4th gen wings going for less than $100 on e-bay all the time.

PM scauffiel, he put one on his car. I don't think his site is up but, he can give to the info about the wing install. I remember one of his posts (or maybe his site) saying the the center posts on the 4rhgen wing have to be elongated to touch the decklid.

I WAS INTERESTED ABOUT THAT ALSO. I SEE 4TH GEN WINGS PRACTICALLY IN THE GARBAGE, BUT I ALWAYS WONDERED IF I CAN THROW IT ON MY CAR, WITH A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS OF COURSE.

HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL KNOW AND TELL US WUT TO DO

Yes a Factory 4th gen wing on a 3rd gen car.I've seen several go for less than $100 on e-bay and that beats the hell out of aftermarket prices even if you have to pay someone to mod it,prep it paint it you'll still come out ahead.

SO U THINK I SHOULD GO FOR IT?

CUZ I DONT WANNA TRY IT IF I KNOW ITS NOT GONNA WORK. IN AN OLDER REPLY, U SAID THAT ITS HARD TO SEPARATE THE CENTER 2 SUPPORTS OF THE WING. I DONT WANNA BE ALL THE WAY THERE, AND PAY TO GET IT PAINTED, AND THEN IT NOT BE ABLE TO FIT AT ALL.
