Fender Vents

well after months of waiting around to do this project i finally got my 81 Z28 vents on my car. i should have some pics up soon as i get the digital. they didnt come out perfect but will do for now. the drivers side was a little bent when installed it so it sticks up a bit but other than that they look fine. instead of bolting them in we decided to try and attach them with some i think it was body panel adhesive(something like that) at the body shop. the picutres should be posted either on here or at www.hometown.aol.com/pillsbry10/Intro.html

it really wasnt hard at all, you have to grind away a lot of the vent itself though. moutning it really depends on how ya want to do it, i just cut the studs off of the vents and basically glued it on seems to be holding up just fine, ill have to do some touch up work though when i paint it again. as far as cutting use your imagination, the fender is really thin so it doesnt take much.

for all of you that dont like my v6 bite me lol
and yes in the background is a real turd, kinda looks like a teal and gray cow if you look close enough

They are glued on?! Wow, when I was looking at them in Greg's class, I couldn't tell. I thought they were bolted on. Go figure. Oh yeah, does that neon on the stb shine through the screen in your hood? I bet it looks nice at night.
