were can i get a blue interior

IM trying to redue my interior and i want to go with blue. This color is next to impossible to find for my 84firebird. I have no prob finding companys that make the carpet headliner door pannels ect, but what i cant find is the plastic molding pieces , the rear cargo area the console area scuff plates and kick plates up font.
does any one no a company that makes these or any place that i can get then for that matter?
thanks jarred

Jarred,
I am not sure what I have that is good, but I may have a set of blue door panels, sill plates, and kick panels at the house. There may also be some of the rear plastic pieces as well but I am unsure of the condition. Send me a PM or e-mail and I will get back with you either tomorrow or Saturday with exactly what I have and what condition it is in. I also know where there is a 83 bird in a junkyard that has a blue interior with some good parts left in it, seems to me the console is there but I do not remember what condition it is in, the seat belts are there and could still be good, seat hinge covers were good. The rear plastics were in pretty rough shape.

Good luck. That stuff isn't too common. If I were you I'd plan on painting what you have. Using the proper materials will provide great results.

i would PM "LFN AT U" he's on these boards and has parted over 70 thirdgens...if anyone had them i would think that he would. He probably has 10-15 cars on hand at all times and has new cars every week. Definately the guy to talk to. Also has the chi-town/Indiana gathering every memorial day that will be bigger than the nationals were in MD last year. I believe last memorial day we had about 50 cars and a bunch didn't show up due to really bad weather.

If you buy the quality stuff and prep it properly, it'll hold up. I did my kick panels 2 years ago and they still look brand new.

Good quality brands like SEM paints will hold up if the panels are prepped properly. Your run-of-the-mill idiot that sprays Krylon on silicone-soaked plastic isn't going to get the same results as somebody that properly preps the plastic and uses quality materials.

You can also have the exact color mixed up at an automotive paint store, and again, when properly prepped will be very durable. There is a market for this stuff. If you buy new panels from GM, they only come in black. It's aftermarket paints that are used to get them to match. It's the same thing with most classic cars that have had the interior restored. There is quality stuff available.
