oldblueZ got a facelift!

For those of you that don't know, a while back I got into a little fender bender. Well, it crushed the fender pretty good. A friend and I put everything back together this weekend. He was able to aquire the 91-92 style GFX, so we used those on the front. We also decided to rattle can my car for now so it is all one color insted of the orignal four. I will get the whole car painted this spring, and it will also allow for me to save up for a good one. The rattle can paint is a little dull, but that's what happens when you use it. About a month or so from now, we'll wet sand and buff it back to a nice shine.

oldblueZ is back and better than ever!

.....and now for the PICS!

Thanks, Actually, it was nearly patriotic with a blue car, a red/orange bumper, and black & white GFX. All one color looks so much better though.

Ok guys,

I got up this morning and took some new pics for you all to see. I have more pictures than the three posted, I just thought three was the limit in a thread.

If you want to see more go to http://oldbluez.cz28.com/photo.html

My buddy that helped me do the work had it. I traded him some stuff for it, so it was basically free. It is just the 91-92 style GFX (which you can't buy anywhere). If you want one, try the classifieds or junk yards. BTW, they are not the easiest parts to come by, so if you find one in the yard, you are really lucky.

irocbirdbuilder,

nope, I can't make it to toys for tots, my explanation is on the post at http://www.coloradof-body.com I am gonna send you a PM after this post too.

I do have a website with more pictures on there too:

http://www.oldbluez.cz28.com and http://photos.yahoo.com/j_hougnon have loads more pics of my car.

I decided to keep the IROC style door GFX, but the new 91's are sitting in the back of it right now.

I know, the hood still needs to be fixed, we'll get to that another weekend, and I did get some epoxy to put the Z28 back on. The tape didn't hold it.

I think that's all for now....except it's SNOWING right now, bummer. (no garage, didn't get home in time for the cover)
