i'm 17 yrs old and i wrecked my car last summer and spent close to 6 months and lots of money re doing in my 1991 RS Camaro. Let me know what you all think of the job i did. I even sprayed it in my dads garage. The inside of the garage is as red as the car though :S

thats a single stage paint too.....no clear.....i originally wanted to get rid of the car when i got it done but now i'm thinkin about an LT1 swap...i don't know... if i keep it i'm going to paint it soem kind of sweet pearl or a silver or soemthing like that
your going to be the next jesse james
nice job, but with single stage paint the gloss will not last very long. I would sell it (since its been wrecked) and look for another clean never wrecked IROC.
I bet you could sell it for max money since its fresh and find another straight car with faded paint and apply what you learn on this car to your next. This time use a base/clear

i'm not sure what i wanna do........the gloss has lasted for quite a while........and i wax/glaze it often enough that it won't lose gloss very quick....i've found an 89 formula that is electric blue. 90xxx original miles w/ 3800 miles on the new 350 crate and a rebuilt vette tranny and its immaculate for $4900 so i dunno what i'm gonna do...i dont' really like the bodystyle of the 89 bird tho

Barbed wire scratched the heck out of the entier car. went long ways down the hood and all of it was down to bare metal. the top was scratched all up and the sides were horrible!

anyone see anything that i really need to work on.....i mean i've seen cars that guys have done that have been doing body work for 40+ yrs and i know good and well that my car is better. I mean its the first car that i've ever done. The first time i've ever touched a spray guy besides doing little things like roll pans and stuff like that.........thanks for the comments and as to those of you that asked me to do urs. its out of the question unless you have a place to do all the work at b/c my dad was a little mad when he came home and the garage was overspray red. He was in Florida for a week when i did it. I got most of it off but the floor has a lil red tint ot it still

single stage paint will last almost forever if u keep it waxed and clean like yur supposed to.
our 92 s10 has single stage on it for over 5 yrs and stil as shiny as day we done it.
and an old 76 chevy single stage over 10 yrs old still shines like new as well.
cheap *** single stage paint sucks wont even last a year but good acrylic enamel single stage last long time.
alot of clear coat paint chips well peels after time for some reason.

I painted the inserts in my wheels...if anyone would like to pay for a plane ticket and place to stay (prefferably near a beach...and during spring break would be nice) I will glady come out and paint yours for you ...you must provide the spray paint however...
