How about this Bird tail light idea?

Pardon the crude MS Paint drawing but I was thinking of taking my lights apart and removing the square grid portion and replacing it with a honeycomb pattern like the 98-up birds. Also would make something to alter the shape of the reverse light to make it round... dunno about that part yet.

not bad in my opinion. I might stay square with the reverse lights though. You're pretty proficient in MS Paint! You're rivaling my Photoshop skills. lol

I really like the honeycomb idea, not sure I care for the round lights though. If you end up doing this, I would be very interested in how you do it. Any idea if the honeycomb material is available anywhere?

I think it would be pretty cool if done properly and well. I actually had that idea (along with many others) when I had my Formula. Now I have a TA and am more of a purist.... The reverse lights wouldn't be too hard to do...all you have to do is only let part of the reverse light shine through in a circle shape....it could be done with paint on the inside of the tail lights.
