i like the tops for crusin, but way to much of a hassle otherwise. besides, with serious power cars you want the hard top

i wish the well was wide enough for our tops to fit down there together, so i could make a stand for them, its alot of trouble to get them in that bag and it zipped up.

IIRC, and I often don't, there are some "conversion kits" that consist of the roof from a factory t-top car, and the conversion consists of cutting your hardtop off at the seam line and welding the t-top roof on, just as it would have been done at the factory. I think a conversion done in that manner would look decent, but the cost of such a project would almost surely be more than the price of a t-top car.

don't do it, for the structural rigidity of your car... a friend of mine has a hard top, and i've always had t-top cars.... the amount of bracing made the first words out of my mouth say "wow"... a lot less metal up there on a non hard top car.

I've been told it screws the rigidity of your car. My friends 4th gen has them it's a blast to go cruiseing in. So I heard of the kit and wanted to know if I should do it or not.

There's a company that does it but it's pricey. Dosn't seem like they add the extra bracing either. http://www.markscustomkits.com/T-top_Conversion.html
