my b&m pro stick install

ditched the stock piece of crap for a b&m pro stick (ive had one ratchet shifter and ill never buy one again..gated all the way).

Biggest pain in the *** was routing the damn cable. Cut the stock shifter mechanism off its base and welded the pro stick base to the stock unit. Now its a direct bolt in. Also made an aluminum panel for it.

nice, it looks like it needs something though. I think maybe an indicator sticker. but good job.

It needs some sort of boot to cover the hole as well. But, all in due time.

ill be putting some type of indicate next to each respective gear once i find something that doesnt look out of place.

im not putting a boot on it b/c they i wont be able to access the reverse lock out lever which is just about flush with the level of the plate.

shifter is there to safely manual shift gears, not to look pretty. although it does look better than the stock heap imo

I like it, I don't think it needs anything else...

yup, just had to get the 4 speed gate plate. Other than that it was a pretty easy install.

for a boot to hide the inner portions of the console and to keep things from fallin in you could use some of that broom like material that they used in are our hatch pull down mechanisms to cover up the latch area...i don't know the technical name for it but that might look good there...cool install!

How far from the front or back did you put the shifter on the plate?
