Here's a picture of mine....not a great pic, and I didn't get any more at the time because the battery in my camera died Please excuse the NASTY old floor mats, they're just protecting the new carpet I'm hoping to be installing a 4th gen console soon too BTW, these are the "GT" style seats out of a '97 bird with the inflatable lumbar and side bolsters

btw....some nice looking interiors in here

i like those hawks covers, how much were they? right now i have 4th gen camaro seats in my bird, but they are tan and it doesnt match my interior so i have walmart camaro seat covers on them, the colors match perfect but they just dont fit very tight around the curves. if anyone wants to trade trendy ones i would like that too

JMatlock88 how did you get the lumbar to function for both seats? I have the exact same seats and "just hooking up the same color wires" dosen't work. I found that the orange and black wires on the passenger side (air pump) are reversed from the drivers. I never had power seats in my 89 so I'm in the middle of making a harness for the seats before I drop them in. The air tube connections was a no brainer. I just can't get the switches on the drivers seat to operate the pump.

Any light you could shed on getting these things wired up correctly sure would help!!

I got the lumbar hooked up. It was actually pretty simple really.

All the wires between the two seats match up in color. Then you have one power wire to the passanger seat, and a ground.

Here is a link to a post I made a while back conserning the issue.

Yep, just exactly what Sonar said. Hook the wires together matching the colors between the two seats, run direct power to the orange, ground the black (I just used a loop terminal and put it on one of the seat mounting studs) and then hook the hoses together using vacuum line and fittings. That's how I did it and they work great! I thought about getting the harness from GM, but they told me they couldn't get it (discontinued?) and that it would be $150 if they could get it, so I said thanks anyway, but I'll make my own "harness". It's all under the carpet now so nobody even knows Good luck!!!

Well, I have tried hooking the like wires together and nothing works together. I have 6 wires on each seat orange, black, red, pink, purple, and grey. To make the driver's seat move (6 way) all I need to do is hook the orange to 12+ and the black to ground; simple. To make the air pump work I need to do just the reverse hook the black to 12+ and the orange to ground. The kicker is having the driver seat lumbar switches operate the air pump. When I have it all hooked up I can touch the purple, pink, grey, and red wires to the ground and have the pump come on. These are the wires that operate the driver's side but when I match the colors...nothing.
