angel eyes wired up and front signals

well I finally got my switches wired in. I have 4 switches which are hidden under the ashtray cover. I put my front signals on a 2 way switch so that i can change them from blue to amber. just not to attract to much law enforcment attention at night. but just thought i'd take some pix as these turned out a lot better than the one in my sig.

hope you enjoy, let me know what you think, good or bad
lol

cheers!

Blake

ps, when you use the actual signal.. and say have amber on the switch. the blue's faintly flash with it.... I have the ground from the ambers into one line, and then the low beam into one line... which then goes to a switch, this is the same for the blue. so then what I did is just use a wire tapper to tap into the blue's high beam wire on each side... but I guess it grounds out some how, because it does the same for when the blues are on too.. unfortunatly its more noticable with the blues on and ambers faintly flashing. so I'm looking for a 3 post switch, meaning that if you looked at the back of a switch which has positions of on and on and in the middle off(in some cases it doesn't have the middle off), on the back it would have a total of 9 posts. so if anyone has seen these online or anywhere. let me know.... i'd prever the large connections on the back to use the female automotive wiring plugs....

cheers

the headlight kit comes like that, as far as my knowledge, the guy off ebay who I got them from isn't selling them anymore..... and i've done google searches..... no luck. they're basically a smaller housing inside the stock size, and inbetween them is two 194 led bulbs, which reflect in between and cast the ring aroudn the light

cheers

Traid? Did you mean trait.....yeah newer BMW's have them. I'm not sure if I saw it here or if I saw it somewhere else, but someone had a tech article on how to make your own angel eyes, halo effect, whatever you want to call it lights. He basically took one of those clear wands that are used on home window blinds...the ones that when you twis them the blinds open (you can get them at home depot). Well he took that and put it in the oven to heat it up a bit to make it pliable and then bent it to shape..the guy had round lights so I belive he used a coffee can to get the shape, but not letting the two ends meet, but coming really close Then he wired an LED light and put it in between the ends so that when the LED was on the light would travel around...the way fiber optics work basically. Then he put that inside his headlight housing, can't remember what he exactly did there if it was inside or outside and he had some angel eyes.

I honestly don't care for it and think it's pointless but, I think you did a good job with it and it does not look all that bad.

Blake, I think you broke the one on the driver's side. It looks like an LED is out.

no no, its actually blue Xenon bulbs in the far left one, because I ordered 4 pair but only got 3, however i was reinbursed, I'm getting like 5 more pair, go into the sides, the liscence plate, that one headlight, and the interior

nice!!!

DEFINITELY some sweeeet asssss lights there!
I'd do them on my 87 T/A but $ is sorta tight right now and besides....I just upped my fogs to H-3 100W's and those are pretty nice by themselves!

Yeah, the Angel Eyes are the newest Euro thing to do on imports.
