Anyone ever seen T-Tops that can pop up like a Sunroof?

I was at a local salvage yard the other day and saw these on an old 86 Firebird.
Pretty neat looking.
T-tops can either come off or you can just use the latch that is on the rear of the tops and pop it up like a sunroof.
I've never seen these before and I didn't have a camera with me at the time.

I'll see if I have time tomorrow. Maybe I'll buy them, but I'd think they'd leak like crazy.

C&C make thoses tops.

Its an aftermaket t-top. I have some information some where in my archives....

I was told the frame is special in order to holds these tops.
So my aftermarket t-tops frame will not fit them.

C&C stopped offering them in 1990

So those won't fit into a standard T-Top car?

I guess it would be kinda like the mod you can get for your hatchback to pop it up a little bit.

That would be nice though!! For those iffy days where you'd like some air, but don't wanna take the whole top off. Or the days when it's cloudy, and you're not sure if it's gonna let lose.

I onlly messed with the pass side one and the latch that holds the t-top to the car was messed up, was kinda loose and had to finagle with it to get the latch to latch back on, but the latch on the back that pops it up was good. It also seemed like the frame was falling apart.

I can do that. Let me know what tools I need to use to get them off, sizes and whatnot.

There 4 Phillips screws that hold it on.2 for the glass( the 2 buttons on the outside of the glass. Those are the caps/Nuts) & 2 on the frame(in the channel)If you remove the 4 phillips screws the entire latch mechanism comes off.I dont think you even need to take off the t-top,but it helps. Thanks again.

Not a problem.
What price do you want to pay so I can negotiate down to what you are willing to pay.

Cars & Concepts used to make these,But they stop back in the early 90s.They also wont fit on the GM style t-tops roofs. They are about 2in shorter.
