Big Block Hood

I did a search for this, and came up empty. I absolutely love the styling of the Big Block Hood on 4th gen cars. I was wondering if they made a similar hood for the 3rd gen, more specifically an '86. I like the Ram Air Hood, but I love the Big Block.

I've searched around some sites, and easily find it for 4th gens, but no 3rd.

Thanks for any help rendered( Yay, big word!)

Forgot to say it's for a Firebird.

Thanks for the link, but I was looking for something that would fit the Firebirds. I'll probably just use the Ram Air if I can't find a Big Block hood, because I don't have what it takes to modify the hoods. Although, I may take a stab at it later, not sure.

I know I'm picky as all heck. That SS scoop is very close, but I like the styling of the Big Block Hood better. The first hood posted is the correct one, just not for a Firebird. I don't really like the SS hood all that much. I know, very similar, but I'm obssesed with my car. :-) Thanks anyways.

I asked the same question about a big block hood in this thread. Rex said that they don't currently make the third gen Firebird/T.A. big block hood... at least that's what I gather from his super short posts. He must be in a hurry each time he answers questions or something as grammer seems to be lacking, which can then get lost in translations on this end.

His only big block offering for us seems to be a bond on scoop, which isn't an option for me as I wanted a light weight hood, not add more weight to the heavy metal hood. Oh well. Perhaps this post and more like it will raise enough interest for them to make a hood for us.

It's time to create some interest with a photoshop of one of those hoods on a thirdgen bird!

Thanks for the info Bnoon. I couldn't find that thread after searching for a few hours. I'd prefer not to bondo a scoop to the hood either. If I can't get it, I'm sticking with the stock hood and just going for seperate ways of Ram Air. I already have some ideas. I just sat outside in the pouring rain (obsessed I know) and I thought out some great things that I want to think about fo rmy car. I wrote up a list for myself and I'm gonna try and get one of my friends to try and photoshop it all together. Too involved for me to ask someone on this board.

What thread couldn't you find? The one I linked you to in my post above?

yeah, the thread didn't come up in the search. Plus, it's labled Ram Air, so I didn't open it up and read it first, like I should have. My bad.
