Just wanted to say HI
I've been coming to this sight for a few months now and I really enjoy it and have learned alot. I have a 86 Z28. When I got the car it was used and abused but I saw the potential and always wanted a Z28. I bought it for $300. I'll post some pictures. Its come a long way since I bought it but it stilll has a long way to go.
Not bad for $300.00. If you like working with cars or just starting these are the cars to do it. Parts are reasonable and you can never go wrong fixing a chevy (real easy to work on).
The dash is simple. But please use your good judgment and use good taste. Try restoring it to it's original condition.

Have you been able to do anything to it yet?
More pics if so.

Welcome to the site, glad to have you, your ride is in more than fixable condition, so have fun with it. If you fortunate enough to live in an area with junkyards, your bound to find more than a few TG's to strip.
One thing though, don't keep your hopes high on finding a good dash at junk yard. Just get a dash cover and keep it until you can be frivoulous and spend a few hundred bucks to get a new one.
If you find yourself looking for inspiration, look at the rides section on the home page, you'll find much motivation their. Theirs a plethora of IROCs in this gallery as well.

Most of all, don't give up, any shiyetuation you may come across, someone else has already dealt with and will more than likely be willing to share experiences and solutions.

dont feel bad about your dash they all crack, and wether you will be able to get one from a yard depends on how good of a yard you have around ya. Up here in Ontario (just encase some of you didnt know thats canada
) our yards seem to have a lot of good quality dashs in them but there are a lot less third gens up here so less people to ****** em up
