which will look better Z28 highrise spoiler or the 5 Inch tail
Hey im not sure which i should get for my camaro. It has a 4 inch scoop obviously, also its goin to be dropped 1-2 inches with 18" z06 corvette rims with low pro wheels... im just not sure which to get please help with your opinions.
go with the 5 incher. I hate the high rise , it looks cool from the side , but it looks like crap from the back , ive seen em in real life not just pics and they look way too high. My dad even mistook it for some ***** wing on the car. Its definately too high and that spoiler only belongs on a 69 trans am not 91 and 92 camaros. Definately go with the 5 inch spoiler.

91-92 Highrise all the way. Those 5" IROC spoilers don't look right and I certainly think with that cowl hood in front that you need something similar height-wise out back.

I'd go with the 5-inch. The hi-rise is, in my opinion, the definitive 3rdgen Camaro spoiler. But we've all seen it, it's on every 91-92 Z28 and hundreds of f-bodies who installed it later. The 5-inch is sleek, different, and would look very clean on your ride.

Personally, I say it is a toss up. Personally I think the 5" looks cool from an angle, but too narrow from the sides.
On the other hand, the aero wing doesn't match the '85-'90 ground effects like it does the '91-'92.
Also take your rims and ride hieght into consideration. I think the 5" resembles more of a retro era/ circle track setup, and would match 15" rims and standard ride hieght better. The '91-'92 wing is more sporty, and I think matches the sporty look of a lowered maro w/ 18"s.

imo the high riser is pretty nice. i have never seen any of the 5 inch spoilers, in real life, but from alot of the pictures, it almost looks like you never changed anything.... just my $0.02... but the high rise like BirdsofPrey said,is on alot of z28's and alot of sc's,rs's and lt's. Thats a tuffy but i would go with the high rise, but i am not going to change as i dont want to drill into my original paint......albert III

THANKS
Hey thanks for the replies guys. i mostly agree with "r90camarors"
this is because i do relize im not putting some 15"s on my car with drag slicks. the 5" tail would look right then. but i stick to your opinion that it wouldnt look right with 18's lowerd. i'll give the highrise a shot .. lol it flips in my head sometimes which to get and i go crazy but im leaning more the the highrise .. any suggestions where to get one cheap besides ebay?

I've bought a couple (2 in the last year) from here. $175 Shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Ebay spoilers are used and go for $100-150 + shipping. Just a thought.

They've also got the best prices on 3rd Gen Ram-Air Hoods as well as the Jongbloed (or whatever its called).
Good luck!

I agree with irocaholic.
None or at least the stock iroc one.
I like to see out my rear window. for cops, little kids and such.

My vote is for the 5in, I have one that is currently off to have it painted to match the car, so I put the stock 3 piece back on for the time being and man what a difference between the two. I really like the 5in and those who have seen it on the car and now that I have it off for paint say it sure looks small after looking at the 5in on the car..I've never been a fan of the stock high rise spoiler.
