Locking gas Cap????

alright guys, i want a locking gas door for my car, i'm tired of having to use this special method to unlock this lokcing gas cap. I was the door to lock. where can i get them, i heard that classic industries made them but their website doesn't show it, where can i find it? Besides a fn junkyard, no junkyard will met me in here cause i'm under 18 so...

i have a lockin gas door on my trans am , i love it , i have piece of mind that someone isnt going to **** in my gas tank or do something. I like how it looks too bc their isnt a bulge where you would put your finger, if you wanna see a pic of it check out the pics in my sig and then go where it says trans am stock . I think thier is one pic in there. I have seen 1 or 2 locking gas doors on ebay , but they are RARE , so i dont know how hard it will be to find one.

Saturn, and 80's grand am's with the interior release will fit with a little work, just make sure its the right size round and off a GM car and you can put it on your firebird. BTW the firebird will fit the camaro even if the camaro didnt come with it.

while it's just my opinion locking gas doors are more of a joke then anything unless they are the full automated kind. it's very easy to open with something as easy as a key or screwdriver so piece of mind truly isn't there and not only that then you'll take a chance on having the person mess up your body.

either stick to a locking cap if you really need it or another meathod. one day some young kids going to mess with it just because....

ok i finnally got my locking gas door, at the junkyard for $5, and i see what your saying about the locking cylender, i had to use a crow bar to open the gas door to get this thing off, but it worked... SO i'm gonna use an actuall Door lock and cyender, and custom fab an even longer pin that way there is no way to just pry the damn thing open like i did.......

Will have pics tomorow.... but the gas door is gold in color so it'll have to be painted before it'll be installed....

is it worth all of that hassle that $2 could have bought you a locking gas cap?

btw, if you have emissions testing and they test the fuel cap, a lot of locking gas caps fail compared to stockers.
