Headliner Idea? Opinions Welcome

Sorry mods, not sure if ithis should go here or in fabrication.
I remember reading about someone doing a custom dash and using that truck bed-liner spray on it to give it a contour similiar to the stock dash bezel. Anyone know if using that spray on your headliner would work? I'm getting tired of sagging headliners and when my t-tops are out the wind destroys it It would give the the headliner a hard-top look. I've thought about doing this for a few weeks now, but also I've been wondering if I did this, and it looked good and everything.... what should be done with the sun visors and the sail panels?

I'd rather use vinyl than bed-liner; that stuff smells like tar.

Well I tore my headliner out today and tossed it(fabric torn, cardboard-like material in pieces. So I'm gonna have to do something. I'm not experienced with fiberglass, how would I go about doing it?

I got a Heads-Up headliner repair kit from Pep-Boys for $39.99+$8.95 for ths Heads-Up adheasive spray glue. It worked perfet. I mean the headliner looks like brand new and the color even matches. I had to buy a extra can of the spray glue to do the sail panels, but for right at $60 you can'y beat it. E-mail if you want to see some pics. tripstermania@comcast.net

The headliners in Year-One and the Paddock are like $205 for the ABS board then $60 for the recover kit and $67 for new sunvisors. I plan to buy two new sunvisors to finsh my top off since I got a roof console and all new now. The mirrors for the visors are only like $10 a piece.

heads up spray and recovering material works well for the money. you can always pop 160 for a new plastic headliner that will never drop, thats my plan. not only will it never sag, but you can clean it unlike the fabric headliners.

I really like the idea of the plastic headliner, but how well does that look with the cloth sail panels and sun visors?
