Well the irocket is finally going into the booth this weekend, I figured I'd post a few progress pics and see what you guys think..

Pushing it into the paint booth tommorrow!

As for metal.. new driver's side fender, welded a couple small patches in the cowl, new core support, and that's it!
It was completely stripped down to bare metal..

 

Cars gunna look sweat when its done. I love black on camaros. Nothing looks better, just hate keeping it clean. Keep up with the pics.

 

you going to have the interior floorpans painted? what about and under the car painted too? wouldnt that be red still?

 

not painting the interior (since it will be covered anyways)
i undercoated the whole underside already..
Car has a fuel leak, so I don't get to drive it into the booth!

actually my dad's body shop..
I work there with him.. started it about 2 years ago.. He's been in the business for over 25 years, so he's helped me a lot

thats cool man, so he does lot of body work and stuff? Did you do that paint job yourself? i Must say thats a very well done paint job, looks excellent!

 

I did most of the body work, and I sprayed primer, but i wanted him to paint it. He is so good at it, so I left him to do it..
The clear is on today, and it already looks deep! I can't wait until I sand it and buff it out..

Car looks sweet. Already looks like glass(from the pics), hardly any orange peel. Hope mine turns out that good.

Umm, I'm not sure what ya mean man?
It used to be red (like in above pics)---> now it's black..
If you are wondering, there is nothing really special about the black. I payed $64 for a gallon of OMNI acrylic enamel, and then $98 for Restorer's Choice clear..
