Left signal problem

Left signal problem

My left signal doesn't come back on left turns any more for some reason, it use to work fine before... :'(

Check you're blinker fluid, it might be low. Also, make sure there isn't a leak in the blinker line. Go check under the car and there is a line going from left blinker to a cylinder under the dash.

Have you tried replacing the bulb? Don't listen to the blinker fluid guys. =P

No, no blinker works fine, I mean when I make a left turn it still blink left

It may be that you are not making a turn far enough for the cam follower to release the switch. I have that problem at times making a shallow left or right turn.

I tried doing a U turn still nothing, that was the first thing to come to mind too

Oh hmm, I haven't had this problem with any thirdgen, but I did with my Corolla once. Replacing the lever fixed it. The catch was broken and when it would spring back it would not pull the switch all the way back.

Axle/Gears: 4th gen 2.37 posi w/disc brakes
This should be easy. Just pull the steering wheel off, pry out the ring to take off the notched steering-lock plate (this is easier to take off than it is to put back on, BTW), and notice the funny little springs on the top and bottom. You're probably missing the bottom one. I don't know if you can get these at a parts store, but they're easy to get at the junkyard. They won't charge you much, if anything at all. With any luck you'll find a car with the wheel already removed.
