Beautiful. I like it. That's the brand cage that I'm waiting to put it. Did you do it yourself? Have someone do it?

 

I did it with my dad. he welds a lot better then I do. I just fabbed it up and tacked it in there for him to finish it up. We even went out and bought a $1500 welder for the job. The most difficult part was not burning through the floors to weld the plates in. the floor is so thin.

 

Did you notch the tubing when fitting it together?

 

lol, i feel the same way.. its not like its that complicated... there are even a solid set of rules that are valid thruout several sanctioning bodys..

but ive given up arguing about it.


anyhoo, nice rollbar, but it seems pretty far forward... when you have your helmet on, are you sitting so upright that your head isnt below the bar? (then again im tall, so i have to worry about these things)

 

I had to re notch the door bars. It may seem foward to you but it is perfect for my height 5'9".
