My next mods are going to be in the interior? How do you think I should do this?

I have two ways I can't decide?

1.) Have the factory cloth seats recovered in Beige Leather and or get some newer updated beige leather seats out of this 98 Camaro SS at Hawks for$ 800, keep the factory leather wheel, fix a few small areas, and leave it alone. I still want to add a classy looking roll bar.

2.)Or go with the race car;lRoad Car Course looking Camaro. Rip out all the beige and go all black interior, Rollbars, Cordoba racing leather seats, custom seat belts, Sparco Steering wheel...

It will be next year sometime when I go forward with everything. Right now I'm just getting ideas while my car sleeps under the cover in the garage for the next several months.

Do you think window tint will make a huge difference as well?

Any other sugestions would be good as well...

With those black stripes of yours, I would go for an all black interior highlighted with some red accents (cd player, door panels etc.). As far as seats, go with some black, late model 4th gen leater seats from a Trans Am. If you really want to stand out, have the factory seats recovered in a black/red leather combo. All you have to do then is drop in a 98-02 4th gen console and black out your windows and taillights.

shawn18jgr, I could build you one of these to go into your new look. I mounted it before I put my AFR guage in for a day.

I'm doing the same to my car (changing interiors). Take a look at the leather choices @ leatherseats.com I'm going 2 tone center (black and tan). I'm taking out my beige plastics and keeping the carpet.

Whats with moving my post? I'm confused I thought this was a appearance related question asking about appearence and not about parts or mods. Oh well no biggie!

It has to be a black interior no questions, i would go 4th gen rear seats and vette frotn seats though, you already got the vette rims on there.

i really think the ebony fourth gen leather would go great...and then have some red accents like mentioned above....that would go really good with the color scheme. Here is a picture of my 1999 SS Seats (ebony) might even be kind cool to have the center portion of the seat in red...and the outside of the seat in ebony

you mean where they mount through the rear wheel wells? Well..I actually cut a section of the plastic out, mounted the bars, then made a separate panel to mount the bars through...it worked great.

I wish i could easily match the rear seats up, but its gonna be costly. I need to find an upholstery shop that can match the leather and stitch pattern of the fronts. Unless there are other suggestions

As I try and try again, my advice is DIY. My next interior is coming from www.leatherseats.com (many nice, multiple tone leathers DIY kits)
