What in the hell am I supposed to do about this Ttop rust????????

I am in the process of por-15 ing my entire floorpan so I thought I should take care of any rust I find in my car. I have know since I bought the car 8+ years ago I had a massive t top leak and had rust under ther top windshield corner where the t top locks on the passenger side. I knew it was bad all along but didn't have the time to deal with it. The picture below was taken before I touched it. Basically after I did touch it that corner just completely flaked off. I partiallly pulled back the weatherstrip and the rust isn't too bad past this area. What is the proper way to fix a problem like this? And what caused water to seep into this area? That may sound stupid but I have yet to see any water or wetness in the area or leak through the t top seal. Ive done the powder test, direct hose spray, I check it after driving in rain buts is never wet. SO help me figure out how it is rusting and how to fix it.

Since this thread is on it's way to being locked anyway....

The political process did it's job. You lost, so stop crying about it.

It's really ironic that so many people on this board love John Kerry. Especially considering his views on the environment and vehicle emissions.

I laugh my *** off every time I see someone with a sig like...

"John Kerry rulez yo haha LOLz!!!!11 "

Hmmmm, if everyone loved him, and he was so great, why did he lose the popular vote by so much? Why did he lose 2 states that went democratic last time? Why did bush get more votes than any other president in history? America doesnt want a blue-blood, New England, Kennedy wannabe, Massachusetts liberal in office. Not only that, Through the whole election all you heard was, JOHN KERRY HAS A PLAN! He had a plan for healthcare, for taxes, for way, for social security, but he never told anyone. Because there wasnt one. Bush was plain and clear on everything he wanted to do. The democrats tried to run a campaign on hatred and anger, and it didnt work. You have to have a platform if you want to win the whitehouse.
