will this idea work????????????????????

i got some needles off a trans am 140mph guage cluster...the ones with the orange backing that people scrape off.....i wanna use these in my camaro guages for when i add some back lit indiglo gauge overlays...is this possible?

Ok if I remember correctly it was that the needles wont fit into the guage. I think that a clear part stuck out from the center preventing it from entering.

I hope I made some sense.

if thats the only problem...that can be shaved off...the speedo and tach dont have that sticking out

Too bad I threw away my spare 86+ needles.

I have all sorts of spare guages so if you are up for waiting I'm going to the junkyard soon and could try it for you.
