whoah, some of those would look nice over my indiglo/white faces. And it sounds like you just adapt it to the bottom of the existing needle/s.

So does any one know if our needles are lexan based like it asks?

I got my gauges in the mail yesterday, but the faces were gray, not white...are they supposed to be gray?

I haven't gotten them yet.Right now I have a digital dash.I can't decide between reverse glow gauges and the needles or auto meter gauges.

I just used clear acrylic epoxy to glue LEDs into the plastic the bulbs normally lit. I pulled the needles and removed the yellow-orange paint. Then applied white. With the LEDs, the needles appear to match the indiglo overlays I got perfectly....

Deadbird,
What did you use to remove the paint from the needles? And then you painted them white? It looks like they need to be clear to pick up the light. Could you explain in more detail? How does it look in daylight?

I used a utility knive blade a scraped the paint off the backside of the needle. Holding the blade perpendicular will scrape away the paint w/o scratching clear of the needle. I then took some white spraypaint and shot it in the lid and used a matchstick to repaint the backside of the needle white. They look just the same as factory only.. white.

Crappy camera produces crappy pictures but, you get the idea...
