is this a good deal for 35 buz ? (tpi air box)

is this a good deal for 35 buz ? (tpi air box)

i payed 35 bux for this its a tpi air box of of a 91 l98 camaro for my 86 lbp it came with K&N air filters on it also with about 10000 miles on the filters.....in year one they want like 450 bux for a complete air box set up...


here are soem pics of the beast.... im also going to be making ram air boxes for the air box..... the guy i bought it off already cut out the guts under the air box though...

yeah man, when I had the RS, i fund one in a junkyard off an 86 Z28, and they wanted $40, and when I was flipping through my year one catalogue, I was shocked to see it for sale for $450!

I'm confused. Wouldn't your 86 305 TPI come with a very similar airbox anyway?

r u gonna have to find a place to wedge the MAF in there? noticing it looks like it's a SD setup. used to have one from a 2.8L maro, 1985 car, was the dual snorkle setup, woulda been a pita to set it up under the firebirds sloping hood, but thought i'd give it a go since it was on hand.

i hit a deer with my car last summer .... most of my air box was smashed so i bought this one to replace it i know i cant use the rubber connecter in the pic being i have a MAF intake... but i still have the old one from my old air box that is in fine shape to use..... lol
