Anything but laquer
I've been pulling out, dents filling them, and sanding down rust spots. I went to 2 auto paint supply stores to find some sandable primer to spray over the repaired areas. Both stores told me they only sold laquer primer in spray can.
I don't have access to a paint gun and I need to primer these areas so I can see how they look. Does anyone know where I can get primer that will work with future paint(DuPont) in a spray can? I've looked everywhere.
Thanks

spray bomb wil not work, Laquer is highly refined dirt!!!
Any quality paint will be 2k, meaning two part. A primer/filler and a catalyst that will crosslink the molecules and make it a polymer.
That said, PPG does sell a rollable primer that is cured in minutes with ultra violet light, Some of our sister stores use this product, I have not. Bear in mind you will need either an acid etch or epoxy primer to replace GM's e-coat, prior to priming.
