what year mark series? in other words, what mark, IV,V,VI,VII,VIII? earliest ones would be a fun project, but w/ their bulkiness , it wouldn't be too "practical" later model ones could be done, adaptations would have to be made for differences in guage wiring, lighting should be straight forward, but making the computers work together would be fun. Aftermarket guages would simplify things a lot, dimensions however might be quite a bit off, can't be sure w/o measurements. if someone has spare time, could be fun, different, and if you're the one who'd like to, why not give a stab at it, worst case, it'll be unique.

I was thinking of one out of a 92 or newer mark VIII. I like the way they look. And espicially since I always wanted to get it a custom "Knight Rider" look I thought I would be a great base.
here is the link for one on sale with a good dash pic

kinda funny that the console looks nearly 4th gen ish...lol....i like the wrap around look of the console to radio pod area, however, not a big fan of the straight look of the upper dash, as a result, i'm not a big fan. It has potential, but in order to not eliminate normal lincoln buyers (older folks) the design had to keep "classy" style in mind, as to not get to "muscle cary" or "sporty"...i'd try for a c5 dash, think it'd make a neater swap, and keep things GM...
but still, whatever floats ur boat

Actually any Vette dash from 80 and up could be made to look really kinda kool. Anybody done a Vette dash in there Bird or even a custome dash lets see. I would like examples

the big differences between c4 and c5 dashes is the curviness of the dash. In the c5's the dash is realy fluid, flows up and around the ocupants, and kinda gets in touch with the earliest corvettes. I think that would make a great swap for camaros, givin that corvette is the big brother, although they'd flow better w/ firebird lines.
