either its rare or i hate the previous owner

im not too sure ive ever seen this option before but the only other camaro ive had was a 91 V6 rs with no special options so i want to know if the previous owner was just messing around in here.

Front tweeters? I mean if its an upgrade, what a crappy upgrade....

My car came with factory amp and subwoofers they called it the performance sound option. Check in the history and restoration section they no a lot more about the factory available options.

My 84 came with the performance sound option also. Some previous owner saw fit to include an awesome upgrade where he installed a KMart radio with housing twist connectors, and upgraded the rear speakers by leaving the stock wires in place, disconnecting them, then wiring the speakers together in the middle of the rear seats. The rest of my harness was done even worse...

Those are NOT factory tweeters, but that IS a factory amp. I have one on my 92 RS. It has the premium sound package.

It STILL sounds really nice actually. So nice that all I did was install my subwoofer and amp into the car. I didn't think the quality of the cab speakers warranted all the extra work of wiring in my aftermarket ones when I had another perfectly good car without any speakers in it whatsoever that could use them.

That's the most ghetto'd setup I've ever seen. THat's the mid and tweeter section out of a flea-market pair of 6x9 speakers, cut, and zip tied into your dash. Not only that, but where it's mounted, it's firing straight into the dash pad, not through the speaker opening. Quality.

haha i did Not think about that! good point i should try to sell it to someone on ebay as a rare thirdgen one of a kind option... haha just kidding. im throwing those things away.

the other thing is, i have speakers from my last thirdgen that im ready to install in this one, im wondering if i should keep that amp, if its good for anything...
