Taking seats out
Hey im trying to remove my stock seats from my 88 iroc and im down to the last bolt and i cant get my tool into the area to get it out. I got the two front bolts and the one closest to the middle console, but the closest to the door im having trouble with. Any ideas on how to get a better angle on it?

One of my ratchets did'nt work. Used a Craftsman ratchet that was slimmer and a short socket, just enough room to get it off...

It's easy, you just need a few tools, mainly a torch, 220v welder, 1000lb impact gun, and a 25lb sledge hammer. Your goal is to destroy the rest of the car around the seat so it pops right out.
Really though, move the seat all the way foward and a ratchet should go right in there, I've never had a problem. The 14mm wrench should go too (I used a box end though), just play with it for a little but.

On my power seats the box end or ratcheting wrench would not work because of the seat rails. I had to attack it from above. Unless someone had the seat out before you and did something funky with the bolt, the ratchet and 14 mm socket will work. Like I posted before, not all ratchets are the same, the Craftsman I used was WAY slimmer that the first one and let me get in there.
