That first pic is of the rear 1/4 panel that was just rusted right through. I cut out the rust, bought a new 1/4 panel from www.millsupply.com I had my uncle weld and i think the problem was that he used wal-mart wire with the mig welder. Idk. Theyse are kinda like 1-2 month old pics (i just not got them developed) so ive grinded them smooth, applied fiberglass bondo +regular bondo over them and sanded smooth. Cant even tell now

I think my very first weld looked better

Hey thanx. This is prety much the first time that I have shown my car (5.7) on here. I have new 91-92 front fenders, 91-92 GFX including new bumper and front chin piece, i also have a new inner bumper. I took off the original 3 piece spoiler on the back, welded them shut, and smoothed them out so that i can put on a high rise. I have a new Big Block hood from hawks. I have new APC seats with new carpet and a Megashifter. A new dash pad and grant wheel. Cooper Ties with American Racing rims. and inside the plastic sacks around my exhaust i have 4th gen tips.

Most mig welds look kinda sloppy till you grind them down you cant weld a solid beam on panels or you will warp them.

well of course you can't weld a single weld the length of the panel, thats why you stitch weld it in short sections. they will still look good though.

oh yeah, I'm not knocking the end result, it came out a lot better than I thought it would. I was just commenting on what he said about Mig welds looking bad.
