Nice. I'm actually painting my car as I type this. Just inside for a bit, waiting to apply the next coat.

I want to get a paint job like this but am not sure how it will come out. How much is this costing you? Did you prep it yourself? Did you change the color? And finally when it comes back, how did it come out?

ok as for prep work before i took it there a sanded and bondo'ed a few dings and dents, one on passenger fender and a few on the doors
i also had to bondo my passenger 1/4 panel...there is already a thread on that so please dont get on me about it here
here is the package i got
"pro-3" -6 year warrenty on peeling fading and wrinkling, '17 step procces'
ultra violet sunscreen protection
pro-tech 24 month plan-with this basicly for any reason what so ever i can have the car painted again no questions asked
-grand total $408

as for the pics, they are from my cell phone and the car is already coverd in pollen from the ride home and sitting for about an hour
p.s. next step, wheels and tires

Are you going to change your name to bluebird?

well for 400 bux i must say im satisfied,
they were suposed to do my door jambs but they said they forgot and got my $100 back (50 a jamb) so at first it was 500 bucks
yeah i would recomend them but dont expect it to be show worthy, there a few spots i think they should have done better but didnt

over all for $400 bucks it was worth it

I'd go back and get the jambs done....especially at that price. When I got my car painted last summer I didnt get a breakdown of prices for things, but I know that the extra mile for getting the jambs done wasnt cheap (especially since they were working with candy). Even taking my door panel off, revealing the stock color (metallic maroon) is enough to bug me.

Pics are hard to see, but looks like the color was a great choice, blue is a good color on thirdgens
