My Firebird - Finally Assembled

OK, not really. I just insured it and I had to take pics for the insurance co. so I had to temporarily hang the bumper and lay the hood on it.

But this is close to what it'll look like when it's done. Yes I am lowering it before anyone asks. I have a set of sportlines ready to go. I'm waiting on my C4HD brake kit to arrive and I'll do it all at the same time.

Thanks. This shot shows the front end better but it was taken at high noon and the lighting was funky:

Kudos to you (and Jay). That looks phenomenal!!!
I'd like to see some closeups.
Love those GTA Wheels...Wish I could find some.
I know you'd said it was getting lowered, but why is it so high to begin with??

I'm not a huge fan of the door handles..but other then that...daaaaamn! looks great! The color is unique and looks good, and I like the hood spoiler combo.

Didnt you have 4th gen wheels before though? Change your mind maybe?

It doesn't have a radiator in it or a battery or the front bumper support (I just bolted the nose to the fenders directly for the picture). Plus, I've just been pushing it in and out so the suspension probably hasn't settled from when I let it down off the jack.

Nah, they're going back on. I just wanted to see what it looked like with GTA's. I bought them for my future pipe-dream of auto-xing the car. Since I bought the wheels, I decided on 13" front brakes so the GTA's aren't going to fit... I'm looking into aftermarket wheels now (Boyds, Intro, etc.)

Hey Steve. You need to cruise out to Jay's and snap some pics & update your cardomain site. I check it every once and a while to see if you've got any new progress pics.

KEVIN G: I want to see if I can get them to work with the C4HD brakes and a slip-on spacer. If not, you've got first dibs.

Wow... that look uber sharp. The blue is almost glowing brilliant. Very nice.
The handles came out looking superb as well. They fit the body style/color perfectly...

Someday, I might get there....

That'd be awesome going with a billet wheel of some sort. I like the gta's...Loved the 4th gens though.
You know what I think would look sweet? The wheels Dave SC1 has...I think thats his name...he has the ROH Drifters or something black spoked with a chrome lip.

Thanx. I promise once it's running I'll take them both somewhere with a nice background and shoot some pics.

spearson: I dunno if this link will work, but I posted a hi-res pic on 3GO. The file size is too big to post here:
