Question about this dome light on ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...spagenameZWDVW

what cars came with this? i have never seen it. can i just pop the old one off and bolt this one up or will i have to mess with any wiring? will it fit correctly since this one is obviously longer than the standard dome light? i figure it would be a nice upgrade.

Just by glancing at the picture, you will have to play with wiring. As for it, it really shouldn't matter as long as it mounts the same way.

To answer your first question, the dome light is the one that came in my 1988 IROC.

It was a option, with the two map lights that you turn on manually. Put one in my car and its no big deal to install. Uses the stock mounting and you just need to cut for clearance for the front map ligths.
