Hey... I am thinking about getting a set of armrests from a 90-92 F-Body. I am told that they are slightly different in appearance but should bolt right in on my 87 door panel. The seller says that there isn't any top ring on these armrests like my 87 armrests... how does it bolt on? Will my bolts from my 87 armrests work? Does anyone have any pics of these type of armrests?

TIA!

the switch panel on the door for door locks is different. heres a 92. I'll look at the differences between my two cars and see if they are swappable, soon. i have firebirds though, dont know if that makes any difference...

Thanks Firebat!

That is the kind of picture I am looking for... but I would like to see the top of that armrest where it bolts to the door.... mine has the plastic ring so I am kinda of wondering what is there that hold the armrest off the door panel...

That's a perfect shot .... just what I was wanting to see!!

I checked my buddy's 89 Z28 and his interestingly enough has those armrests, kind of weird because they were suppose to come out on the 1990 models.. but maybe his was a late production car that got a few of the newer parts... they will fit my car without any problems as he has the same door panels/locks/switches as mine...

Cool...

Thanks Firebat!

Yeah... its only a small thing but they are a nicer armrest and when in good condition they feel softer...
