...what i was saying was it would be like a hard top with a trunk lid instead of a hatch. a notchback replaces the hatch and the whole thing lifts up when you open it. but what i WAS saying is it would be more like a, lets say 69 camaro. hard top with a trunk instead of a hatch or a notchback........get it yet?

i saw a post with this idea in the past couple months. But why not just buy a trunk lid from a vert and put in on a coupe? I'll give you a for unnecessary welding.

it really wouldnt look much different than a notchback... until the trunk is open.

funny thing is I was thinking about something like this the other day. I like the look of the trunk that a 'vert has, so maybe a one piece hard top that you can take off like the thunderbirds or miatas have. that would be sweet. would have to get the slope right on the back widow to pull it off though.

1992rs/ss thats what i was kinda thinkin but instead of a lift off it would be welded on with a window rake to match the back of the b billar. it would look sweet if it was done right!

Came up in a topic just recently and then again awhile ago.

I'd love to have a removeable hardtop for my vert but there are other thigns I want to accomplish first.
