Sound deadening pad question...

Alright, so I've decided to buy some edead v4 for my interior. I want to order enough to cover the entire floor pan, door panels, area behind the dash, sail panel area, and the metal part of the hatch that is beneath the spoiler. So the big question is just how many square feet of this stuff do I need?
Also, remember that edead's website claims that this stuff is much thicker and I won't need to layer it.

Thanks, Josh.

I couldn't tell you exactly how much you would need, but just measure the different areas into a square or rectangle to its easy to figure out. Plus then you can lay the bigger piece over and trim around it so it fits perfect. You'll have a little left over but better than not having enough.

I know 60 square feet will just about do 2 layers on just the floor board. Some areas have enough bracing for just one layer, some need more then 3..

Somewhere on TGO, I found that a user did the interior of his coupe, including roof for 170sq/ft. This also includes a double layer on the firewall.

I used 70 sq. ft. I did one layer on the whole floor from the firewall to the inside of the tail lamp panel, the roof, and halfway up the firewall. Also the inside of the sailpanels, half of the rear quarters, and the rear wheelwells.

Maybe it was 70sq/ft and I read it wrong.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I think 110sq. ft. will probably cover me, but if someone knows otherwise please reply here before tomorrow morning.

Also, which areas of the car do you guys routinely double up on?

Thanks, Josh.

Moroon Iroc: It is totally possible that you read 170 sq. ft. right. The stuff can get used up pretty quick especially if you double up on the entire floor and cover the doors and the whole trunk.

Camaroguy: you should be fine with 110 sq. ft. I would double up on the firewall and the rear wheelwells. The top half of the firewall is a bitch to get to though even with the dash off.
