Need Overhead Console Ideas

I am thinking about replacing the 'pouch' on my overhead console. I'm tired of looking at the sagging elastic. However, I can't think of anything useful to replace it with. The keyword here is 'useful'. I'm not putting any type of switches there. I thought about just replacing it with some type of Firebird emblem. But, again, I would rather have something useful. I thought about installing an extra holster for my cell phone. But, I'm not really excited about that either (I doubt I would actually use it). I would appreciate any ideas you could offer.

An NOS pouch is/was being advertised in the classifieds, should you be interested. I didn't appreciate the 'sag' either; my fix was to glue pieces of Velcro to the pouch and to the overhead itself--sag no more.

I think I have decided to go with the cell phone holder. I actually decided to do this before I read your post. But, I would love to see pictures showing how you did it anyway. Thank you for the replies!

I'm buying a new headliner without the holes for the console, and I'm just going with a dome light when I redo the interior in my Camaro.

For the longest time I thought the overhead consoles were the coolest thing, but now they just look cluttered and dated to me. My GTA doesn't have the console, and I think it makes the interior look more modern without it.

I think overhead consoles look ok, but only on a T-Top car.

Come on dude, my overhead console would look right at home in KITT.

I'm keeping the console clock though.
