No kidding. What'd you use to clean/paint the bottom of the car?

Thanks for comments.

I cleaned the entire undercarriage and treated it with SEM Rust-Shield (Rust and Corrrsion Control Coating).

I was pleased with the quality of the UMI SFC. The were a little snug on the passanger side but I grinded them down and squeezed them in.

Also had the welder install relocation brackets at the same time.

They look okay. I'm not a fan of their SFCs but am a big fan of clean undercarriages.

how much did you pay to have them installed?

$140 ... I did all the prep work and clean up but the welder made a house call so difficult to compare to a shop rate. Also had UMI relocation brackets done at the same time but they were simple since I have the rear out of the car.
The welder is top notch.

I have yet to install my UMI SFC, I had a question though... Aren't you supposed to load the suspension BEFORE you weld them in

Yes ... instructions highly suggest loading suspension.

I have car stripped to the frame so time will tell if my doors and fenders will fit.
I figured if they would have been factory installed, then GM would have welded them before any parts were assembled.
