what color? Silver or Red? According to GM parts Direct...it looks like GM discontinued them. The part number is: 10179122

I did find a rear 91-92 Z28 rear bumper emblem...but no luck yet with the rocker emblems. I'll keep my eyes open though

If you want a set of red emblems.... Well, you're going to have to pay for 'em!

nice emblems....but those aren't the 91-92 style. The embems you posted have 3 different shades of red which are pre-91.. The 91-92 style are all one solid red.

wow that price is ridiculous. I will or was going to buy all new silver ones for my car when it gets repainted because every single emblem gets destroyed when you pull it away from the paint. its like the backing of it pulls away and then you can almost see right through the emblem. For that price though, I will fill the holes in and call it a day. Good luck Jeff. Let us know if you find something

I agree. But what is a guy to do? I'm in the process of repainting my 'roc. Like the gentlemen above stated. When you remove the emblems, 9 times out of 10, they'll be junk afterwords.

Myself, I'm a perfectionist. I opted to drop a buck fifty ($150.00) on a set of factory gold "IROC" emblems, not the "Z-28" emblems.

If I'm to do it. I choose to do it to the right way. Folks who have the new old stock, basically have us who don't have the new old stock by our short hairs. Doing it right costs a person in more ways than one at times.

Cat.

I've got the "gold" on my '89 Iroc too. Paid $60 for the rear bumper emblem. ...and I actually "made" my GFX emblems. Some patiently cut and polished 1/8" black plexiglass, some 3M vinyl cut on "our" vinyl plotter and a doming kit for the "bubble". You can't tell they're not OE.

it proberbly has something to do with the copyright issues of the design of the Z28 logo.

Yup! Sure is! ...I've thought about selling rocker emblems, but there's some logistic issues with the doming kit, blah, blah, blah.....but I may do it some day, who knows?

Did you try Classic industries ??? Thats where I got mine. If I remember right, they were like 15 - 20.00 per emblem.
