Well, I've moved on to a new project of the firebird.. mounting the taillights. They've been hanging off for awhile now, and just held on by some friendly duct tape

Anyways.. duct tape only does so much for so long, so I was wondering what those those little black pieces that hold the taillights on are called. I have a picture below of what it is that I'm missing if you can help. It's an '88 firebird.



Also, if anyone knows where a good place to find them is, that'd help too. If not, I'm sure I can just find them from ebay somewhere..

yup thats what you need. ebays probably your best bet. nice and cheap. i buy everything from ebay haha.

 

hah, thanks. From what you see there, will there be any other pieces that you think I might need?

 

some one can correct me if im wrong but i do belive there is suppoesed to be them washer things on all the studs. looks like your missing the two on the out side. but i personally dont think its that critical. i wouldnt worry about it but its up to you. other then that id say your all set.

 

hah, ya, and that's my BETTER taillight, so I'm sure I'm missing a few on the other side xD

But I have a few washers laying around that should do the trick if needed. If not.. then, it won't hurt to put what I have on now, then put the others on later.

I've actually found a couple of things I need form there, so that makes things a lot easier. Just wonder if I can find a cheaper radio pod :x

 

I went to a pic and pull and paid $5. each side. Time you pay inflated shipping on e bay everyone is charging, you could buy new.

 

id sugest if u want a nos part u buy it quickly they discontinue stuff all the time lol hehe you could go work for chevy and get a discount like me
