Mounting tips and help for a high rise spoiler (91-92 Z28)
I dont have any instructions to mount the high rise spoiler. I kinda have an idea about how to mount and where it lines up to mount. I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips or could show me some pics of theirs so i could determine how to mount mine. I looked but i dont see anything that will help alot Thanks guys. -Matt

just kind eye ball where it goes, there should be a rubber gasket in between the spoiler and the hatch which allowed us to tape to the hatch and drill holes based off that gasket. If you don't have the gaskets then get some weatherstripping foam with tape on one side and cut to shape. Would be found at a pep boys, etc for use on bed caps for pickups, door seals, etc etc.

if you are replacing the exsisting rear spoiler for the high rise like I did, 2 out of the 4 holes line up, as for the other (2) I just took a can of spray paint and marked my other 2 holes and drilled them with a 3/4" drill bit, as for the ends I used self tappers.

In addition to what gordo420 said you will have some holes from the 3 piece spoiler that will need to be filled, preferably with a weld.

Don't mean to bump this old thread, but i been thinking about doing the low lip spoiler to the high rise spoiler conversion just wanted to know which bolts line up? The ones in the middle or the outer ones??
