Headlight idea

I have grown really really fond of the 98-02 halo headlights... Just makes the think sharper, and meaner, and I was trying to find a way to get this look with our third gens... I did this on paint, but I was thinking if we found a way to create these, I think it would give our third gens that same look... Whatya think?

The top one is before (Obviously) need I say anything about the bottom pic? I think not

I think that if you want a 3rd gen to look like a 4th gen, you should have bought a 4th gen. I personally think our 3rd gen front end lights suit it just fine, car looks really mean. If you want something to set it apart like "halo" headlights "otherwise known as angel eyes", you should consider HID's.

I think that is a good idea! Those headlights arent only for 4th gens. So I dont see how custom making some like that would be bad? I think it looks pretty sweet. Only thing is, how ya gonna modify the headlights to look like that .

Re: Headlight idea

Ugh.... I wish those headlights never existed. They are such pieces of crap. DONT bother buying those for your camaro man... Waste of money. Those lenses are loosely installed, might move around, and light output is crap. I got a set just for the housings to do a HID retrofit. And they were so cheap, it was the way to go. I installed them just to see how they worked, and was throughly dissappointed. Not that I expected anything good from them. haha.

If you search around, you'll see that plenty of guys have either installed real projectors, the right way.... or they replaced the individual lights with round fog lamp style lights. Those can have halo rings.

My opinion... There is nothing round on a camaro. Except for the wheels. Round lights on the front of a 3rd gen camaro just doesnt work. Ive seen it look OK.... But its all in the execution.

I mean.its your car. So if you want the halo looking set up, then by all means. But I would look elsewhere because those ebay lights are pretty junky.

i think those headlights look pretty sweet. if you could pull it off and do a decent job. if thats what you want to do to your car, go for it. don't listen to people that say it is crap. your the one driving it, not them.
