Re: projector headlight

Wow, the details are overwhelming!
Did you expect us to read all that!

If you're talking about those headlights, that have the fake projector in them, or the ones with a curved piece of glass in front of the bulb. Those are all junk a few have tried them already.

If you've found something else, a link would be good.

Re: projector headlight

Hey guys, he sent me a PM and all it had in the message was this link.
brightheadlights.com

for the amount of money they want for the lights, I would rather do a retro with OEM projectors. that way you know exactly what you're getting.

Re: projector headlight

This does seem like a flat-out ad, but that site had legitimate kits. The housings are $500 each. I can't find them for much cheaper.

Here's a kit:
http://www.kbcarstuff.com/4656_6_x4_..._p/xd-4656.htm

This kit will include the following:

Left and Right 4656 HID Xenon headlight assemblies (Outer) Left and Right 4656 Halogen headlights (Inner)
Complete wiring package as illustrated
Mounting Hardware
Instruction manual
DOT Certificate

Re: projector headlight

Well, that kit claims to come with both sides, and all the wiring pictured, and among all the wiring are ballasts, Bi-xenon HID's, and a (matching?) set of non-HID housings. And it's all Philips, which I believe is the most expensive HID company. But yea. $850 for the kit is still the stuff of rich men.
